A part of SFU’s Summer Publishing Workshops, Digital Strategy: Editors’ Intensiveis a four-day intensive workshop. Participants will work collaboratively to conceive and develop editorial strategy, decision-making, and process organization. Lectures will cover strategies, tactics, techniques, and tools for streamlining the publishing process.

August 6th to 9th
9am to 6pm
$600 CDN

At the end of this workshop you will know how to do the following:

  • Strategize marketing and promotion online
  • Use XML without a degree in rocket science
  • Produce e-books without wiping out your margins
  • Work effectively with freelancers and off-site collaborators
  • Manage and archive your works with the future in mind
  • Develop a working digital strategy for your organization

This workshop is ideal for editors and other publishing staff who are looking to streamline or reorganize editorial workflows with the digital world in mind.
